Members
We usually have between fifty and seventy 11 - 14 year olds on the Venture from all over the UK (and occasionally even one or two from outside the UK). Some come through a link with a particular church; others don't. Some come as part of a group; others come on their own. Some are following Jesus; others aren't. Some like sports; others prefer more crafts. Some like being energetic; some prefer quieter things. There's plenty to do, whatever you enjoy.
Members are organised into room groups, usually of somewhere between six and eight young people. In these groups we take part in some of our activities and also read and discuss the Bible. The accommodation arrangements mean that you'll usually be sharing a room with one, two or three others.
Cooks, Leaders and Assistant Leaders

To feed a 100+ hungry mouths, we need a sizeable team to plan and prepare our meals! You don't have to spend all your time in the kitchen. There are some opportunities to join in with activities and meetings if you wish to.
Assistant Leaders
Assistant Leaders can come and find out what Ventures are all about without being thrown in at the deep end. You'll be part of a room group and involved in running activities and other aspects of the Venture. You'll also have a chance each day to think about the 'hows' and 'whys' of Christian leadership according to what God says in His word, the Bible.
